So many first’s and so much fun….

Short daily report from the last couple days!

First Marlin for @kimshiel.art

…. AKA Ruth!!! My bad and apologies!!!!

Very naughty striped Marlin that first knocked down the Short right, fell back to the short left and then finally bite the long right Xpress @ilandluressa and got hooked on the tail!

That did not make it any easier but after lots of swearing, puffing, granting, two hand technique 🙂 but also lots of determination, willpower and spirit in the chair and Kim finally released the fish still full of color…

From the bottom of my heart – Well done Kim!

As usual so nice to have @jvelloza @jovelloza and @ashvelloza with us for a few days – and YES we miss you @michael_velloza

Today was Paradise Island trip, that special unique place that anyone that visits the area must go to…nice sashimi and sushi extravaganza when back & back at it tomorrow and the next day.

Not many boats fishing today and pretty slow with a few Blacks missed and Marlin II releasing a Blue!

Well done to senor @dupeugene on Salt Shaker, after catching a Black out wide the previous day they went 1 from 2 on a Blue Marlin yesterday (last pic)!

But, some really interesting catches by the small fleet in the last couple days including 4 spearfish and some beefy YFT to 54 kilos!

4 from 5 on Blues and Striped Marlin in the last two days

Striped for Rex’s first Marlin and a Blue for Johnny on Monday which punched a hole on the hull below the waterline so yesterday we fished on Game Changer and had the pleasure of having @jovelloza on the boat.

It was to be Girls Power Day!

Happy hour before the low we “fortunately” pulled the hook on a little Blue as 10 minutes later hooked up to a #500 and @ashvelloza released her first Marlin – unfortunately no pics on that one!

Then had the most insane bite and this time @kimshiel.art got in the chair and did a beautiful job on her first Blue.
