100% Marlin Record: Last week we had Craig Edwards, Stella and all the kids for a couple half days!

It has been many years that we have fished together and it was great to finally meet all the offspring and enjoy some time on the water, some great barbecues on the boat and meals at the resort.

Nothing like some barbecued fresh prawns and fish on the boat washed down by some excellent white wine 😊

During the barbecue @ the south point on the last of our two-half day´s I was chatting to Craig and he told me – “you know it´s the first of the many trips we have had with you that we did not catch a Marlin – but it’s OK as last time we did catch a double out of a triple strike!

I was quite amazed by that and it had never occurred to me – first because they normally only do two fishing days per trip but mostly because most of their trips have been light tackle in random months outside the Marlin Season like March, June, July and August!

Two rather successful days; the first many years ago on VAMIZI with Craig o the far left releasing a Marlin and the other guys on the boat releasing a sailfish each, the second on their last trip last year aboard Game Changer when we released two light tackle Black´s out of a triple strike.

Well, they did have another day but seeing I was booked out they went with Ben on Drop Your Rods and to keep the tradition and the 100% record they had some great light tackle game fishing and did release a Marlin, again on the light tackle for Sj´s first ever!
