The Little Green Devil
The Little Green Devil: She has taken a long lease and is our long-term long right tenant for a reason.
She is a small girl but takes big punches and raises fish of all sizes as well as riding beautifully in all kinds of weather.
Being petit she gets a mouthful and that means great conversions.
Once in a while I like riding something else in that position but all I get is long faces and mutiny from the crew.
Two seasons into her and the crew did not call it magnet anymore but…
….The little green devil!
Because we like to dress her in Green and cut her skirts by an inch.
She comes in four sizes and we tried them all but, in all honesty, we found one size rides better than all others.
She does not come without its quirks and nuances and it took us a while to figure out how to ride her best.
When we first rode her out, she sometimes rolled and at others became lazy so we tried different approaches until we found her best ride.
She seems to like a high-power swivel on top of the hook rig to let it choose its way and a loose hook – it’s the only one we rig this way but she has never let us down!
We might be biased as #pulsatorlures has been a big supporter for years and we can’t thank them enough but she really is special…
