Another 2 fish for D.A and Fisher’s first Bazaruto Trip: Duarte checking in again!
2 from 2 today and raised another 2
Today was beautifully calm and we started with the baits in the morning and when we were about to change to the lures to go wide got a big boil on the long swim and two minutes later on the short swim, scratched the shit out of it but never even opened the clip.
Just then IBO came pass, right behind us and hooked up on the lure on a real nice one, probably the same fish but pulled the hook.
Looked to be about #700.
Went wide and we released a Striped Marlin and then on the way in raised a small Black on the short but no bite out of it.
Switched to the baits and at 2pm on the dot hooked a 300 on the swim that was a real frisky and good fun fish to catch and release that one for D.A
After missing a really nice one in the morning we went out wide and released a Striped Marlin caught out wide on the short corner Black over Green Big Tube from Pulsator Lures. Later that day we came in and released another fish, this time a 300 Black marlin on the swim bait that gave us lots & lots of fun! Real fun surface fish with all the right moves!
Veleiro got a small Black and a Blue
Reel Screamer 2 Blues and missed a Striped
Dorado 0 from 3 on Blacks
IBO 0 from 2 on Blacks.
Grande Azul 1 from 1 on a Black
Flat calm again….
…and 1 from 2 bites today
Missed a small Black on the swim and released a Striped out wide of the canyon in the Big Tube from @pulsatorlures
Right next to us Grande Azul also missed a small Black and they pulled the hook on a nice Blue #600
Veleiro had a good day releasing 2 Blues and a small Black
IBO was game fishing and trying to catch bait really shallow among the quennies and scads and ended up catching three little Blacks on the bait’s rods right there in 15 to-25 meters water.
There have been really high numbers of little Blacks on the reefs with many hooked and caught on the light rods when boats are doing bait.
Just too much fun!!!!
