Bazaruto Heavy Tackle Marlin Season 2021

Bazaruto Heavy Tackle Marlin Season 2021

After a pretty chilly winter for these latitudes, the weather seems to finally be warming up and this means we are getting closer to that special time of the year – Bazaruto´s Heavy tackle Marlin Season.

We have had a pretty good run this year and between March and early June caught a good number of Marlin when we target them, on what we call the Archipelago´s second run. But, the time for the real big girls is drawing near and the Heavy tackle is coming out in just under a month to start the season.

Available Slots

Just last week and due to specific travel restrictions in their countries, a couple of our overseas guests had to cancel / postpone their Bazaruto Heavy Tackle fishing trips to next year and thus two slots have become available during this year´s season.

10 to 16 September 2021

10 to 13 October 2021

If you interested in taking any of those dates or some days within them, please see the link below for more details and rates on our 2021 Heavy tackle Season Packages;

Due to these bizarre times, this year the resort is offering great discount all-inclusive rates including complimentary boat transfers to the Island.

Airlink is now doing daily flights from JHB to Vilankulos and we have a nurse on site that provides COVID tests results within 24 hours at the resort.
