Vilankulos based options
Click on the link above for our packages rates & information based out of Vilankulos.
These package rates include accommodation on a 4-bedroom Villa @ VDP and fishing aboard the 38ft SuperCat “Game Changer“.
These rates are specifically design to make it very affordable for groups of three and up to seven anglers (which can fish very comfortably on this 38ft by by 16ft beam beast of a boat) but, kindly note that we also offer other accommodation and boat options on request and, especially for smaller groups.
Bazaruto Island (Anantara) based options
Click on the link above for our packages rates & information based out of Bazaruto Island.
We have been working with Anantara (ex Indigo Bay) for 20 years now and they give some great discount for our guests on these all-inclusive packages.
This year they have gone further and given us a roughly (depends on package) further 20% discount on accommodation and fishing on the above packages between March and June of 2020.
Contact us for quotes / rates.
These all-inclusive rates offer accommodation, food and drinks on at the high-end resort, Anantara Bazaruto and fishing on a 31ft Gulfcraft.
We will be back & forth but as usual will be based at Bazaruto for the Heavy Tackle Black Marlin Season all the way from September to mid-December.
We still have two slots left for that time and a few more on our second sister boat, IBO, with Christiaan Kruger @ the helm. Besides the Marlin it’s also a great time to target GT´s and all other sorts of gamefish.
Season & Species
Below a rough guide line on what to expect when on the Archipelago, but please contact us for more detailed information or you can also look at our species & Seasons page on our website;
We offer anglers all kinds of fishing the Archipelago as to offer; from heavy or light conventional tackle, popping, fly-fishing, jigging, ultra-light spinning etc.
April to July are great weather months with a good diversity of species and fishing options.
March to May is our second Marlin run. Although generally the average size of the fish is smaller than the slobs we get during our main Season (Sep-Dec) it’s a great time to target both Black & Blue Marlin of the Archipelago.
It’s also a great time for light tackle game fishing with YFT tuna, cuda, dorado along with many other species. Especially the great & fast winter wahoo run that normally starts in May and into winter.
The peak of the Sailfish bite normally starts around mid-May and all the way to September with May to July normally being the best, a great time to target those on conventional light tackle or on fly.
August is a great all round month with sailfish, many small Blacks starting to show up along with Yellowfin tuna and other warmer water species
GT fishing and other species on popper are great year-round but the end of the summer months between March to May is peak time along with September to December.
The same goes for the avid saltwater fly-fisherman or the keen light tackle spinning enthusiast visiting the Archipelago.
September see´s the start of the Heavy Tackle Season for the Giant Black Marlin (and Blues) that the area is famous for and which stretches to mid-December.
Of course, these BIG fish don’t come here for nothing and this is a great all round time period to chase all other pelagic game fish.
Once again, if interest in any other information contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to hear from you and especially welcoming you on board.
Best regards & tight lines,
